What is MSDS?
The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is a document or set of documents concerning potentially hazardous chemicals. The MSDS includes information on the chemical's identity; physical and chemical characteristics; physical and health hazards; primary routes of entry; exposure limits; whether the chemical is a carcinogen; precautions for safe handling and use; control measures; emergency and first aid procedures; the date of preparation of the MSDS or the last change to it; and the name, address, and telephone number of the manufacturer, importer, or employer distributing the MSDS. Only current Mitco customers and employees qualify for access to the MSDS Database.
